Q: When was Bando New York founded?

A: The initial concept of Bando New York was formed back in March 2017. Due to insufficient funds and an overall lack of experience in starting up a business, we weren't officially founded until December 11, 2019 after finances were situated.

Q: What does Bando New York stand for?

A: The term "bando" is often used in pop culture when referring to an abandoned house. The way that I personally interpreted the word was different. I interpreted it as feeling a sense of abandonment and isolation in the world. This was a feeling that I often dealt with internally for much of my life. Unlike the wide majority of society, I didn't really care about popularity and clout. I would much rather keep to myself and do other things. The pieces that I create here are specifically catered to the people who feel the same way about society's massive obsession with clout. The second part of the name is self explanatory. If I was in Africa, I would have named it Bando Africa. Or Bando San Fransisco. These are oddly specific examples when I come to think about it.
